Also the Canadian National Anthem
I love singing anthems, because they remind me not to take the freedom's I have for granted and because of how much hearing them touches others. I proudly deliver my powerful, yet traditional version, in pure acapella voice. My greatest National Anthem opportunity, was being asked to sing my solo acapella version for Preseident Obama's signing of the historic Economic Stimulus Bill in Denver, CO. (2009) I also sing other importnat anthems including Lift Every Voice and Sing and the Canadian National Anthem. A perfect way to unite, kick off or wrap up your special event.
Anthem performances and selections
and many ceremonies and corporate events.
I'm always honored when asked to sing when a life ends. God has given me the heart to embrace the process of death, and the strength to support the family and deliver a heartfelt musical tribute. I must offer this service, because I know how much the simple act of adding a touching vocal tribute means to the families, friends & associates of those being remembered.
Whether solo or with my inspirational choir, we'll send your loved one on with melodic and beautiful sounds of truly gifted professionals. We'll work together to present a ceremony which respects your wishes, and religious and cultural preferences.
Acapella (Pure voice-no instruments)
It is a gift to have the ability to touch, calm, soothe and stir emotions, without need of electricity or musical instruments. As a vocal instrumentalist I will put my whole heart & abilities into your special ceremony.
Music Backing Tracks
When instrumental music is desired, my 1st choice will always be live musicians. Having a live group is not always an option, and many exchanging vows have not included vocals because of limitations with location, space or budget.
I am prepared with musical backing tracks, which normally include all instrumentation and background vocals, making for a full sound. If I don't have your song selection, I can get it or have it created.
Also great for small home parties!
Add
Live musicians will always be my first choice, but my strong feelings against using backing tracks changed recently, when I realized the freedom it gave me to book myself as a solo performer, and its ability to ease most of the restraints of small venues or private home gatherings. The tracks allow me to meet the diversity of my 1000+ song repertoire, and sing any genre of music you desire. I can start with a laid back dinner set and then take the party to the next level, singing the best dance music of 6 decades! I truly have something for everyone! Most tracks include all the instruments and background vocals, making for a very full sound. If I don't have your selection track, I can get it!
I own a state of the art Bose Personal Amplification System. The sound from the Bose system surpasses the quality of sound from a traditional PA system.
It's made to fill a 500 person venue with full sound or provide background dinner music at intimate venues. It's compact and easy to transport. Click here.

I adopted the name The Black Swan Singers for my group in 2007. The Swans are presented as a trio. The Black Swans wear harmony like a second skin and are proficent with many genre's and style's of music. Our ability to move & engage the audience comes from literal decades of living and breathing singing. We are concert solo artists, who come together to provide back up vocals to top a-list groups, and are masters in the recording studio. Our signature sound can be heard on many CD's and some commercials.
The groups foundation consists of myself, leader & coordinator, the lush alto/tenor voice of Coco Brown, the vocal icon Carl Carwell's powerful falseto & showmanship, the annointed soprano, Shelly Lindsey, and seasoned vocalist Shiva Maxey.*
*The Black Swan Singers are assembled and directed by Sheryl Renee. A SR Production. Members are subject to change.
SRC (formally Voices in Faith) was started 10 years ago, to fill a need for mainstream people' desire to hear and feel the moving sound of gospel voices. As a corporate choir made up of professional vocalists, we are able to go into any environment and share inspirational, gospel, pop and/or religiously edited, custom songs, with a choir of 4 to 11 skilled harmony specialists.
