Bio

Sheryl Renee's earliest exposure to singing came from the amazing voice of her mother, Katie Love. Sheryl is the co-owner of Metro Denver's newest full service entertainment produciton company, called Black Swan Talent & Production. Together she and her partners Hazel Miller, Rhonda Jackson & Lori Cohen, intend to offer the best in professional entertainment. Musically and artistically, Sheryl enjoys a versatile career which includes some impressive career highlights including:

  • 2007 Black History Month and 4th of July Concerts in Lahaina, Maui HI.
  • Dec. 2006-Featured guest soloist with the Colorado Symphony
    Orchestra "Home For The Holidays" Christmas program. the 23rd annual
    presentation of Denver's premier holiday stage show. A Colorado Christmas was
    viewed by millions on KCNC CBS 4's annual live television broadcast. This program
    featured CSO Associate Conductor Scott O'Neil, CSO Chorus, Colorado
    Children's Choral.
  • Brought in New Years Eve 2007, at Colorado's only 5 Star hotel The Broadmoor,
    in Colorado Springs, with the Ken Miller Orchestra. Will be back performing NYE 2008

  • Drew nearly 5000 people to the closing concert for The City Park Jazz
    Festival.

  • Shared in over 40 Wedding Nuptials and Receptions across the nation in 2006.

  • Voices In Faith Power Choir opened for notables as John P. Kee and Joe Cocker
    as well as a host of festivals and private functions.

  • Performance with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra and conductor Marvin Hamlisch, December 2005

  • Assembled and leads the Voices In Faith Gospel Choir

  • Being picked to be the solo National Anthem vocalist for John Elway's Colorado Crush, AFL Football team, their Inaugural season, 2003. As well as performances for the Colorado Rockies, Denver Broncos, Bandimere Speedway, Denver Nuggets, Pepsi Center, Denver University Hockey, Colorado Rapids and many ceremonies and corporate events.

  • Sang the National Anthem for Mayor John Hickenloopers 2004 State of The City Address.

  • Winner of the 2004 Denver Post Ovation Award; Best Actress in a Musical, for her role in the one woman musical "Hi-Hat Hattie", about Academy Award winner and Coloradan Hattie McDanial. The musical was the first show ever to be held over at The Aurora Fox Theatre.

  • Winner Westword -Best of 2005, Best Singing in a Musical - "Hi-Hat Hattie" The Aurora Fox Theatre.

  • Perfomed her dead-on impersonation of Tina Turner at different events across the country including in Hawai.

  • Originated the role of "Power Woman" in the New Denver Civic Theaters wildly successful comedy production of "Menopause the Musical".

  • Produced and created the popular stage show Sheryl Renee and her Salute to the Legends. The show features a classic mix of the music and history of America's great music legends.

  • Released her first Solo CD Project "Sheryl Renee And her Salute to the Legends" Volume 1, 70's Popular.

  • Opened in concert for Diane Schur, Cooper Mountain Musicfest, July 04' .

  • Produced the television special The Making of a Docu-Portrait, A tribute to Hiawatha Davis Jr. DCTV; Television producer of Bethsaida Temples In The Word.
