About Us
Holidays are a wonderful traditions, but like any other day the potential for unintentional injuries is always there.
Independence day / 4th of July: (If fireworks are legal where you live.)
  • Be mindful of the dryness, in the area your lighting up. The month of July and the dry season go hand and hand. Fires may start.
  • Make sure that people are out of range.
  • Never attempt to relight a "dud" firecracker.
  • Keep a bucket of water near your activities.
  • Fireworks are terrifying to our domestic pets, and can cause them to run away or into traffic. Their ears are much more sensitive than ours. It's best to put them inside.

Thanksgiving:

  • Children are more likely to be around the kitchen.
  • Make sure pot handles are turned towards the back of the stove.
  • Delegate the cooking jobs less likely to cause harm, to the children. Slicing should be left up to the Adults.
